Larson Acres and Magnolia are in mediation regarding their dispute about the number of animals allowed at their facility. To get the latest in this ongoing dispute, click on the post.
Doesn't it seem like Larson acres did what they were suppose to do? They went to the township board and got their permits as needed only to be overturned by the state court. I feel bad for them. If I am missing something, some part of this feel free to let me know. But I don't think it's right that they have been put in the position that they have been put in when they thought they were doing what they needed to do legally. And why was it the state court feels that magnolia township over stepped its bounds in allowing this? Does that mean that any business is at risk of having the rug pulled out from under it?, After they have gone through the proper channels to get things going.
I believe what happened was Larson Acres did go and get the proper permits. Its the state court saying that Magnolia township did not have the authority to issue those permits. I don't understand why, maybe someone else can explain.
